Excellent Location

If you have ever visited Lanzarote, or heard of this beautiful Canary Island, it is quite probable you have heard of, or stayed in Puerto del Carmen; the most popular tourist destination here. The buzz of this area has unsurprisingly produced a knock-on effect on property demand. An excellent location on the island’s south coast line, Puerto del Carmen offers the best of both worlds. On the main Avenida, you will find a wide choice of white, sandy beaches to relax on, and an array of bars, restaurants and shops that will cater for your every need.

Lanzarote Altered, Not Spoilt

But thankfully, Lanzarote laws are very strict when it comes to the buildings on the island, forbidding any high rise edifices (bar the Grand Hotel in Arrecife, the only exception) or multi-coloured exteriors. Thanks to Lanzarotes pride, the artist Cesar Manrique, the government has made sure the island retains as much of its natural charm possible, with the least amount of mankind’s interference. So even somewhere like Puerto, the busiest spots on the island, you can still find a spot to relax without getting the built-up, city-claustrophobia feeling.
